The Turtles in Time Re-shelled is a remake of a 1991 SNES and Arcade game is now available for download on the Xbox marketplace for 800G. The game itself looks completely fresh and has that new feeling to it. The game is very short and you could speed through it in the space of 30 minutes just mashing the X button which is the main attack.
There isn’t much to this game really, anyone can pick it up and play it and even some of the achievements are obtainable for doing things wrong????
X is the main attack but you can also slide attack and flying kicks etc but most of the time you will only use the basic attack. At the start you will get to choose your difficulty level out of 4 options and then onto your turtles with Raphael & Michelangelo being pretty much the same and Donatello & Leonardo for longer ranged attacks.
The comments made by the turtles through the game get repetitive but its always fun when you manage to pick up and enemy and chuck it into the screen.
Some of the levels with traps are quite annoying as you get pushed into them by the enemies and they don’t seem to be effected by them.
The co-op is fun but playing with four players can be annoying as sometimes you can’t tell which turtle you are controlling as the screen is filled with enemies. Also only 1 pizza is provided so chances are some git will take it when they don’t need it.
You can get an achievement for finishing the game with all 4 but when you play on xbox live someone will always leave the game.
It’s good but not great. This game gets a 69%
